10 Weather: Rain, storms wraps up the weekend

Another push of rain arrives Sunday morning but we dry out by late afternoon

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Sunday: Scattered showers and rumbles of thunder in the morning with the timing from 6 a.m. to Noon. From Noon to 3 PM rain will push south of Manatee and Sarasota counties towards SWFL. Our severe weather threat remains low at this time. Expect a cooler high of 88 with an 70% chance of rain.

Monday: Rain chances are focused across SWFL with the chance for a stray rinse in the afternoon thanks to that typical diurnal heating and sea breeze collision mainly for our interior areas. High temps in the upper 80s and lower 90s.

Tuesday: Drier weather settles in allowing us to breathe easier with lower humidity. High temperatures in the lower 90s.
